Swirls out.Depth back.
Swirl marks, haze and light scratches leveled out of the clearcoat by machine, then sealed, so the paint looks like it did when it was new.
Move the light. See the difference.
Detailers inspect paint with a single bright light, because swirl marks light up in rings around it. Move your cursor to move the light, and drag the handle to compare.

Straight answers.
What causes swirl marks?
Automatic car washes and improper washing techniques drag grit across the paint and leave fine circular scratches.
Will correction remove every scratch?
Scratches that catch a fingernail may be too deep to polish out safely. Ask for an assessment before work starts.
Should I coat after correction?
A ceramic coating locks in the corrected finish for years instead of months. See ceramic coating.
How long does it take?
It depends on the level and the vehicle. Your quote includes the timing.
